What areas do you specialize in?
I specialize in healing-centered approaches including Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Ecotherapy. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Integrated Somatic Trauma therapy.
What's your approach to therapy?
I work with individuals who are feeling disconnected from themselves, their bodies, their communities, loved ones, and/or the natural world. Trauma, attachment wounds, and chronic stress are often the root of fear, disconnection, depression, and anxiety. Learning to reconnect safely is the path to healing and transformation. I use an integrated approach to therapy, predominantly drawing from Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Somatic trauma therapies, and Nature-based/Ecotherapy.
What do you do for nature-based therapy during winter or when the weather is bad?
Between October and May we have access to an indoor office space located in Albany NH where we can choose to stay indoors if the weather is not conducive to meeting outside. There are trails on the property that offer the perfect venue for nature-based therapy when the weather and surface conditions allow. From May to October, we may decide to walk in the rain if it's not too heavy or switch to a Telehealth appointment occasionally as needed.
Can I schedule an initial consultation to see if your practice is a good fit?
